POLICE have released a shocking new image of a wardrobe at the centre of a tragic blaze in which four Fylde siblings died.
Detectives today released the shocking picture as murder squad detectives made a fresh appeal for help in catching the person responsible for starting the horrific fire.
Teenager Reece Smith, 19, his baby brother Jordan and four-year-old twins Holly and Ella died in the blaze at their mother Michelle Smith’s Freckleton home.
The fire – which left the Fylde village devastated – broke out as Miss Smith celebrated her 36th birthday with family and friends.
The blaze started in the wardrobe of the property’s attic bedroom at around 11.20pm on January 7.
Reece tried to rescue Holly, Ella and two-year-old Jordan before all four died from smoke inhalation.
Police officers remain convinced someone who was there that night knows how the fire started.
And today they appealed to the partygoers to bring them the vital piece of information they need.
That call was backed by the children’s grandfather Keith Smith, from St Annes, who has spent the last three weeks searching for answers about his grandchildren’s deaths.
